Orbie's Quartered Mind
Orbie's Quartered Mind is a puzzle game where you move through four worlds at the same time.
Every level is one room, mirrored across the screen. Two copies at first, then four. There is an Orbie standing in each copy, in the same spot, and they all step together when you press a direction.
The copies look identical, but they aren't. A wall can be there in one world and missing in the others, and a step only happens if it works in every world at once. So you are really walking one route through four different maps, and the wall that stops you is often in a world you weren't looking at.
Between levels you explore a broken world of floating islands. Collectable stars are hidden in the levels. Find enough and discover new paths and islands. Stars can also be spent on upgrading your scan ability which better helps you spot the differences between worlds.
- One rule: a step happens only if it works in every world.
- Includes puzzle elements like keys, locks, teleporters, crates, moving beams, and more.
- Unlimited undo, no timers, restart anytime.
- 10 levels plus the world map, in one sitting.
